New Multiphoton confocal FLIM microscope at CAB

The second instrument funded by the Novo Nordisk Foundation for CAB has now been installed: a new multiphoton, confocal fluorescence lifetime microscope at the North Campus. The Leica Stellaris 8 DIVE/FALCON. This system enables state-of-the-art confocal and multiphoton (MP) imaging. With the extended MP laser reaching up to 1300 nm, both second and third harmonic generation microscopy are possible, enhancing the potential for label-free imaging. Coupled with the option of fluorescence lifetime imaging, the instrument provides a versatile modality for detecting cellular and molecular functions in three-dimensional samples.
